Dentist visits

Bekah lost her first top tooth today! It had been hanging on by a thread for a couple weeks, and it finally came out while she was eating breakfast today (with a little help from me). She is enjoying pushing her tongue into that hole. :)

I got a cavity filled today and that was the first time I had one eye and one side of my neck go numb! It was weird. But I'm grateful for local anesthesia!

Bekah had her check-up today and had one cavity. She still is too nervous to have x-rays taken, but when the teeth are small most cavities can be seen without x-rays. She is excited to get to watch TV next time while they fill her cavity (this is her second cavity ever). The dentist said her 6-year old molars are starting to come in...I guess I didn't realize there are so many molars to come in. It really is all about teeth!

Once again we're re-dedicated to brushing teeth and flossing. It takes becoming a parent and seeing the potential and sometimes inevitability of dental bills coming that gives me a whole new level of motivation.
