Family Pictures

So I knew it'd been a really long time since we'd had a real family picture...Dec 2008 to be exact. We had one "look where we are" family picture in July 2009 at our favorite pizza place Nick's, or "the place where you get to throw peanuts on the floor!" as Bekah calls it.

But nothing since. That's sad. So we decided "Let's hurry and do one right now. No matter what." So the background isn't great, but the lighting is good. And we made it happen. Here's what we came up with in just 15 minutes notice for dressing up and 15 minutes outside.

Don't I have an awesome husband who can do things like this on the fly?! Guess I should listen to him more when he says "Let's have a family picture today" and I always say "Nooooo, do we have to?" It's a hold over from childhood. Family pictures were always so traumatic and boring at the same time. But not to worry, we made it fun too. That's the great thing about being your own photographer and having digital pictures...it doesn't cost anymore so you feel like you can make it more fun. Aren't families great!
